The win marked his first TOUR title since the 2023 TOUR Championship (a span of 21 starts). With a back-nine 32, including birdies on Nos. 16 and 17 in the Snake Pit, became the second player to birdie both of those holes in the final round and go on to win the event (John Senden/2014). Became the 10th international winner of the Valspar Championship and first from Norway. Improved to 4-for-5 converting to victory when holding the 54-hole lead/co-lead on TOUR.
