Personal

In May 2020, Adam and his wife, Jessica, established The Hadwin Family Foundation, a nonprofit offering support to families and individuals experiencing unforeseen medical and financial hardships, with a focus on infertility support and family building grants.

Grew up playing Ledgeview Golf Club -- which is less than 6,200 yards but has sloping greens and tight lines off the tees to offset its lack of length -- in his hometown of Abbotsford, British Columbia. Adam's father, Gerry, worked at the club for several years, eventually becoming Director of Golf. The club was also home to former PGA TOUR member Ray Stewart (made more than 200 TOUR starts, mostly in the 1980s and 1990s) and multi-time PGA TOUR winner Nick Taylor.

Played several youth sports, including golf, but baseball was his favorite. Despite being a Vancouver Canucks hockey fan, did not play hockey growing up.

Supports the C.H.I.L.D Foundation, supporting Crohn's disease research, an ailment his brother has.

Bucket list includes skydiving, bungee jumping and visiting the Great Wall of China.

If he was not a professional golfer, would be a chef. Loves trying new things in the kitchen and creating new things to eat.

Most people don't know that he is a Kentucky Colonel.
