Jerry Kelly taps in par to win the Mitsubishi Electric Classic

Jerry Kelly, who held at least a share of the lead after each of the first two rounds, won the Mitsubishi Electric Classic presented by Vensure to become the 25th player to reach 13 wins on PGA TOUR Champions. Kelly defeated World Golf Hall of Fame member and 36-hole co-leader Ernie Els, who finished runner-up at 19-under after closing with 68. Els remains No. 3 in the Charles Schwab Cup standings after earning his fifth top-five finish in seven starts in 2025.
Reigning Charles Schwab Cup winner Steven Alker matched the low round of the day (65) to finish third at 16-under and remains No. 2 in the Charles Schwab Cup standings. He has finished in the top five in all six of his starts in 2025, and this is his 34th top-three finish in 81 starts.
